Indianapolis, IN (March 18, 2016)—Pure Development’s recently completed project for GE Aviation in Indiana earned it recognition by a statewide industry organization.
At its 8th annual Real Estate Awards, the Indiana chapter of the NAIOP / Commercial Real Estate Development Association presented Pure Development with the Best Industrial Project award for its LEAP assembly plant for GE Aviation.
“We are incredibly excited to be recognized with this honor,” said Pure Development principal Chris Seger. “Just as importantly, we are very honored to share it with our outstanding project partners and the team at GE Aviation who made it possible.”
Pure Development completed the 300,000-square-foot, $100 million facility, at which GE Aviation will assemble its next-generation LEAP aircraft engine, in September 2015. Pure delivered the facility in less than a year – a month early and on budget.
In addition, Pure Development principal Jay Archer was honored for his distinguished career in and contributions to the industry. Archer has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate development, closing more than 1,000 projects collectively valued at more than $2 billion. In addition, Archer’s been a long-time contributor to and supporter of the industry and its philanthropic efforts.
