GE AVIATION LEAP ASSEMBLY PLANT
This state-of-the-art, $100 million facility will be used to assemble GE Aviation’s high-efficiency LEAP engine for the biggest aircraft builders in the world, including Boeing, Airbus and jet manufacturers in China. Construction began in summer 2014 and the plant opened in September 2015. GE Aviation officials expect to employ up to 200 workers at the facility by 2020. This is the third project Pure Development has handled for GE Aviation in the last few years, joining two plants in Mississippi.
