The ideal candidate is a self-starter with over ten years of experience in business development in commercial real estate, construction, development, or finance. What you’ll do:

  • Source build-to-suit (BTS) development opportunities for Pure in the South – Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Lousiana, and New Mexico
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with target brokers, clients, and prospects
  • Solicit RFPs that meet Pure’s target project criteria – target clients include office, manufacturing, distribution, cold storage/food processing, lab/life science, and aerospace/defense
  • Promote Pure’s BTS capabilities to brokers, prospective tenants, economic development groups, and site selection communitie.
  • Participate in brokerage events, national and regional conferences, and client events to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities
  • Create and execute business development strategies for generating build-to-suit opportunities
  • Report lead generation progress regularly
  • Work collaboratively with Pure’s internal development team to convert new BTS opportunities

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum ten years of experience in business development. Industry-related experience (commercial real estate, construction, development, finance, etc) strongly preferred
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High Integrity and professional character
  • Ability to work independently but enjoy working with a team
  • Regional travel regularly
  • Travel to headquarters in Indianapolis regularly
