GE Aviation needed to expand their ability to manufacture the advanced composite components that are critical to their popular LEAP engine. With several huge contracts looming, GE Aviation turned to Pure Development to fast-track a new facility in Ellisville, a small community just north of New Orleans.

Careful planning and coordination were required to keep the project on time and on target. In just 10 months, the new facility was operational, adding 250 new jobs to the Ellisville community. The $42 million advanced-manufacturing facility was built to meet the structural and power requirements needed to operate massive high-tech kilns used to form the composite components.
