Indianapolis, IN – Pure Development recently welcomed Ian Nicolini to their team in the role of Vice President of Development. In this position, Nicolini will serve as Pure Development’s primary liaison on the LEAP master development team working with the IEDC as well as the global companies looking to develop facilities in the park.

Nicolini most recently served as chief operating officer of Indy Chamber, where he provided executive leadership and strategic support to guide the development and implementation of the chamber’s strategic plan.
Prior to his role as COO, Nicolini oversaw Develop Indy, Indianapolis and Marion County’s Economic Development Corporation, where he led business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts through a partnership between the Indy Chamber and the City of Indianapolis. Develop Indy’s efforts lead to the creation and retention of more than 50,000 jobs. He was recognized for his efforts with the 2020 Mac Conway Award for Excellence in Economic Development by Site Selection magazine. Before joining Indy Chamber, Nicolini was Town Manager of Speedway, Indiana and served as an adjunct professor at IUPUI and IU–Northwest. Nicolini currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Fathers and Families Center of Indianapolis and coaches youth soccer in Speedway.
